The construction and arrangement of sound
Sound design helps to enrich emotion, allowing the viewer to fully immerse themselves in the story.
We create original sound compositions for each and every film we make.
Having control over elements like pacing, tone and aesthetic gives us the ability to reflect the themes and personality of characters in our films.
We are able to do all this because Barking Wolf was founded on two crafts: Sound design and narrative storytelling.
Breaking apart the elements
VOICE Forms the basis of the story
COMPOSITION The emotional bed that shapes the 'feeling' or tone
AMBIENCE Background or spacial elements that work to position characters e.g. reality, reflection, fantasy
SOUND EFFECTS Used to accent moments, bridge parts of a story or distract viewers
