A practice of sound design for life.
My practice is shaped by a long-standing fascination with sound and how it connects to people, place and story.
I formalised my practice at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). After graduating in 2011, I co-founded Barking Wolf, a documentary outfit focussing primarily on the production of socially impactful stories.
My work expanded over time into exhibitions, podcasts, audio post production, events and teaching.
Recent work includes: Sound Design for Shaun Tan’s Tales From Outer Suburbia, Producer for Albany Is - a large-scale audio storytelling project. I also release ambient music, which is approaching one million streams online ;)
The majority of my projects are collaborative. I’ve come to believe that culture is something we create, here and now. Through shared processes we bring new works into the world - listening and exchanging energy in order to push the culture forward.
